Natural sources

The sources of 14 mineral springs are found within the territory of Luhačovice, of which the MIRAMARE spa hotels own 2: Jaroslava and St. Joseph’s Spring.

Composition of SOURCES

Natural mineral waters that spring within Luhačovice are hydrogen-carbonate, sodium chloride waters and are rich in natural carbon dioxide.
In terms of anions, they contain 99% hydrogen-carbonate and chloride, and in terms of cations 80-90% sodium, plus potassium and calcium. Some of these healing waters have a higher iodine content, others bromine, fluoride, iron and barium, and all contain boric and silicic acid.
